Welcome to Hawgwild's guided spin fishing trips.  Not really interested in fly fishing? Or maybe just trying a little fly fishing but then blasting some lures out there for those fat, feisty, big trout. Spoons, spinners, plugs, crank baits, and plastics zing off my ultra light G. Loomis spinning rods.  The big browns just out of reach..??....not out of reach for the big Cahuna collection, my 9 foot nine and ten foot ultra light summer steelhead rods. Talk about extending your casting range. Whhoooow Watch out for the other side of the river!

  Spin fishing trips are user friendly and include waders and boots,  a range of G. Loomis rods, all the lures and tackle, transportation from your lodging, ala carte food and drink, fishing licenses, and guide. Half days are around five hours and full days are seven to nine hours round trip. Full days we walk into several of the great whirlpool holes and blue water pools of the Bow River and stealthily fish along the edge of the river with some sight fishing from the deeper cut bank holes.
